在马来西亚，我没看过马来同胞和印度同胞买白萝卜，也没有吃过采用白萝卜的马来西亚美食。只有在日本餐馆才会看到白萝卜，大多数拿来当前菜。
白萝卜是我喜欢的蔬菜之一，用来炖汤，真的很好喝，它不但有丰富的芊维口感很好，味道很清爽，尤其是马来西亚的热带气候，很适合吃白萝卜。
据了解白萝卜还有美容养生作用。我记得早前买过一本书当中介绍如何用植物来美容养生，里面有提及使用白萝卜面膜等方式来进行美肤。
在我家，我最爱的一道炖汤，是白萝卜炖汤。在敖的过程中会嗅到很浓的味道，如果不习惯会觉得很臭。但是对我来说，我很喜欢这股味道，觉得很香，很开胃的气味。
要炖好汤并不难，首先要懂得选出好材料。
选白萝卜，要选比较粗的，比较多汁。再来手拿起来要硬的比较新鲜，诺是带软便不新鲜。色泽纯白色，不要太多纤维丝，缺乏口感。
2）先将红枣很滚热的水一起敖，大约20分钟后白萝卜与排骨及干蚝一起放到 锅里，大火煮开，小火慢敦火至少两个半小时，煮好后放盐。
